Understanding where ethical values come from and how to bring them into action
Although Responsible AI and Ethics work can come in all shapes and sizes, values will always remain the foundational roots of this field. The purpose of AI Ethics is to build and adopt AI solutions that are reflective of our values, while Responsible AI practices focus on how to bring the necessary value-based decisions into action. With this in mind, it is only fitting that we take a moment to dive into the values themselves, as this week we address questions such as where values come from, how to turn ethical values into action plans, why culture in the workplace is so essential to the success of AI Ethics, and what you need to be paying attention to in the months to come.
